Filmed by our small team over several days on location in Riga and Kuldīga in December 2021. It follows the virtuoso pianist and composer Richard Sears, who travels to a remote part of Latvia to meet David Klavins, the creator of the world's largest pianos - the nearly-15ft tall i450 vertical convert grand.

This intimate black and white film focus on the relationship between a master performer and a master craftsman, following Richard's journey and preparation to play and record on one of the world's most unique instruments.
